• 1 kg squids
  • 1 kg sliced onions
  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • 1 cup of chopped parsley
  • ½ cups of basil
  • 500gt tomatoes (fresh or canned)
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 1/3 cups of LACON extra virgin olive oil
  • 1-2 daphne leaves
  • 4-5 allspices grains
  • Salt, pepper

Wash the squids thoroughly and cut them in slices. Put the olive oil in a casserole and brown the onion for 3-4 minutes. Add the squids and continue the browning. Add the garlic, the tomato, the lemon, the daphne, the allspice, salt and pepper. When the ingredients start boiling, low the temperature and slowly boil until the squids get soft (about 30 -40 minutes). Right before removing from fire, add the basil and the parsley and serve.
